Let me tell you about this fantastic restaurant I stumbled upon. As soon as I stepped inside, I felt this relaxed and inviting atmosphere that was super enjoyable. The menu was a delightful surprise, offering a diverse range of dishes that were prepared with such skill and creativity. The flavors were on point, hitting all the right notes and leaving me wanting more. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Huge portions, too! Best meal we have had on the big island! Thank you!

Terrific, homely and authentic breakfast and brunch options either on the way to or back from volcano National Park... Or if you find the handful of cafes in Volcano aren't open for breakfast and you're ok with a 20 minute jaunt down the road. The burgers are outstanding, moco loco was authentic and tasty, coffee is free flowing... It's good value and as local as you can imagine. Nothing fancy, but friendly and good.

My honest opinion, it was okay I entered hungry and I left full, but otherwise disappointing. The ambiance, outdoor seating and view was wonderful - we enjoyed it with a cup of coffee before eating. I had the grilled chicken bacon blue sandwich with lava fries. Grilled chicken was small compared to the amount of bread, and it was completely falling apart by the end. The fries have great direction, poor execution. Inside of the fries were undercooked and outside were not crispy, I did not finish them. My date had the mushroom Swiss burger, with garlic parm fries. Burger was dry with a firm texture, saying it felt "microwaved" though we don't know that for sure. She did not finish, not the burger nor the fries. It seems like there are some changes happening. Not sure if it's all related.. Service was also so-so, one lady was bright and smily at the hostess station. Our waitress however was cold, to the point, and seemed pressed to move on.

This is their cheeseburger and hurricane fries. Dry bun and patty, a quarter sized little piece of onion, small tomato slice, wilted lettuce, and fries all for a whopping 18 bucks! Quality control has fallen off a cliff.

If you're looking for a cozy and charming cafe with delicious food and unique shopping, Dimple Cheek Cafe & Local Market is a must-visit spot. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere. The cafe offers a variety of delicious and creative dishes made with locally-sourced ingredients, including vegan and gluten-free options. The coffee and tea selection is also great, with plenty of unique and flavorful options to choose from. The local market is a unique addition to the cafe, offering a variety of handcrafted goods and locally-sourced products. From pottery to jewelry to handcrafted soap, there's something for everyone. The market also features a rotating selection of local artists and vendors, which adds to the charm and variety of the experience. One thing that really stood out to me was the attention to detail. The cafe is decorated with a mix of vintage and modern touches, which creates a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is also friendly and attentive, making you feel like a welcomed guest. Overall, I would highly recommend Dimple Cheek Cafe & Local Market to anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining and shopping experience. The food is delicious, the coffee and tea selection is great, and the local market is a unique addition that adds to the charm of the cafe.

We left with dimple cheeks after dining here! Food was so fresh and immaculate! We were there during prime rib night and it was seriously hands down BEST prime rib ever! Be sure to make a reservation if possible. They had lines waiting out the door around dinner time. People wishing they had reservations.

Not sure what happened, compared to other reviewers. My potatoes and bacon were inedible, cooked way too long or looked like leftovers from the night before, nothing extra on eggs, really bummed for the price as we looked forward to this place. Location was nice. The next morning we had an excellent breakfast for less $ at a historical lodge outside of the park entrance. It was a perfect experience we were hoping for on our visit šŸ¤©

Very simple whole foods type of restaurant with a small shop in the back and a farmers market. Food was good to me( healthy) but my 11 year old wasn't a fanšŸ˜„ again healthy food. But seriously I had the Mahi and I can't wait to have it again. Worth the stop.
